National Addiction Treatment Week October 19th – 25th

Don’t Miss National Addiction Treatment Week

October 19th – 25th

Did you know that less than 8% of all providers are trained to provide medications for addiction treatment?

America is in the midst an addiction epidemic with more people having died from a drug overdose than from car accidents.

Join us for National Addiction Treatment Week to raise awareness about the critical gap between the number of people who need treatment and their access to qualified medical professionals who can provide evidence-based, specialty treatment.

Follow National Addiction Treatment Week or #TreatmentWeek on social media during the week for regular updates, statistics, and quotes from professionals in the field.

This year, National Addiction Treatment Week encourages clinicians and providers who work in a variety of medical settings and specialties to learn more about addiction and evidence-based treatment and to consider career paths that emphasize the field of addiction medicine.
