GUIDANCE AND TOOLS
NYU Opioid Screener
The Bronx/NYU Screening Tool identifies individuals at risk for high service utilization and overdose. It was developed by New York University’s COSSUP Opioid Collaborative and the Bronx County (NY) District Attorney’s Office. The tool is intended to accurately assess a person’s risk without consuming the time and other resources that more extensive screening tools require. It is being validated in the Bronx and will be tested in other sites if it shows promise.
Data Science Tools
NYU Marron's Litmus Program offers data science tools to all of its collaborators and strives to make these publicly available for all interested practitioners. These include mapping of overdoses and other phenomena and data visualization dashboards custom-made to meet individual needs.
